Note that whilst the site is open 24 hours, most of the stalls and restaurants close for large chunks of the day so check in advance before visiting. Sure, Gangnam was made famous by Psy, but thereâs much more to the area than Gangnam Style. While a lot of the big clubs that made Gangnam nightlife famous shut down during the pandemic, thereâs so many things to do in Gangnam at night, youâll get frazzled just trying. I recommend Morococo Cafe across the street in HBC for delicious and affordable Moroccan cuisine. Once full of fuel, get your groove on till the wee hours at one of the popular Seoul clubs in Itaewo
During peak time hours, however, you can expect the price to double, and the chances for any free time added are scarce. And as the name entails, in South Korea, it is not customary to head into a karaoke bar with a stage to sing in front of strangers. Instead, you book a private room for you and your group to take turns singing. This is a great option for those who may be too shy to sing otherwise, as well as for those who want to belt out several songs in one session. You can get really good shabu shabu from anywhere in Seoul. Generally, Seoul does meat and seafood really well, and if you choose street food stalls and food night markets over the higher end restaurants, you can get by on a relatively low budget. Iâll start with my personal favorites, Thursdayâs or Corner Pub.
